Alfred, Lord Tennyson, the world-renowned poet, was a student at Trinity (1827–1831) and held the position of Poet Laureate from 1850 until his death. Lord Tennyson was also a committed smoker.

Our Tennyson Smoke is a smoky, but gentle, Russian Caravan tea with Lapsang Souchong leaves. Perfect as an interesting classic black tea alternative. Goes well with milk (or alternatives) and sugar. 

Ingredients: Assam, Lapsang Souchong and Ceylon black tea leaves.

Serving suggestion: one heaped teaspoon per cup. Brew at 100 °C, steep for 2–4 minutes, add milk and sugar to taste.
